Dukutober is a Breast Health Initiative of the Zambian Cancer Society (ZCS). The Society is a non-profit organisation founded in 2009 on the belief that no one should face cancer alone. That is why we support anyone affected by cancer, irrespective of age, gender or type of cancer. We want to give hope, empower and enrich the lives of cancer patients and their caregivers.

Raise Awareness
We work tirelessly to raise awareness about breast and cervical cancer, breaking the silence surrounding these diseases and dispelling myths and misconceptions. Through educational campaigns, community outreach, and media engagement, we strive to ensure that everyone has access to lifesaving information about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment.
Promote Early Detection
Early detection is key to improving outcomes for individuals diagnosed with breast and cervical cancer. We advocate for regular screening and encourage individuals to prioritize their health by seeking timely medical care. Through screening events, health talks, and outreach programs, we empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.
Provide Support
A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, but no one should face it alone. That’s why we provide vital support services to cancer patients, survivors, and their families. From emotional support and counseling to practical assistance with navigating the healthcare system, we’re here to offer a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on throughout the cancer journey.
